THE PLOT
What if your toys came to life whenever you left the room? That’s the magical idea behind Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story (1995), the groundbreaking animated adventure that introduced audiences to Woody, Buzz Lightyear and the rest of Andy’s toys.
Woody, a loyal pull-string cowboy, has always been Andy’s favourite toy. But when a brand-new space ranger named Buzz Lightyear arrives for Andy’s birthday, Woody suddenly finds himself competing for his owner’s attention.
Things quickly spiral out of control when Woody and Buzz become separated from Andy. With moving day approaching, the unlikely pair must put their differences aside and find their way home before it’s too late.
Featuring the voices of Tom Hanks and Tim Allen, Toy Story is a hilarious and heartfelt adventure about friendship, loyalty and discovering what it really means to be someone’s favourite toy.
