Pixar Animation Studios is set to release its 29th feature film, Elio, on June 19, 2025. Transported to a cosmic assembly of alien species, Elio must navigate this new world, forging friendships and discovering his true identity.
The film features the voice talents of Yonas Kibreab as Elio and Zoe Saldaña as his mother, Olga Solis. Additional cast members include Remy Edgerly, Brad Garrett, Jameela Jamil, Shirley Henderson, and Matthias Schweighöfer.
Elio is directed by Adrian Molina, known for co-directing Coco, along with Madeline Sharafian and Domee Shi. The screenplay is penned by Julia Cho, Mark Hammer, and Mike Jones. The film’s music is composed by Rob Simonsen, adding an emotional layer to this interstellar journey.
