Mercy – Jan 22

Mercy is a science fiction thriller set to arrive in cinemas in early 2026, with visionary director Timur Bekmambetov. Best known for the kinetic style of Wanted (2008) and the cult classic Night Watch (2004), Bekmambetov leans into tension with a near real time narrative that unfolds across a single, relentless countdown.

Plot: In the near future, a detective (Chris Pratt) stands on trial accused of murdering his wife. He has 90 minutes to prove his innocence to the advanced A.I. Judge (Rebecca Ferguson) he once championed, before it determines his fate.

The film is led by Chris Pratt, known for Jurassic World, Guardians of the Galaxy and The Lego Movie, while Rebecca Ferguson has impressed audiences in Dune Part Two, Mission: Impossible, Doctor Sleep and the science fiction series Silo across blockbuster franchises worldwide today.

Produced by Charles Roven alongside Bekmambetov, Mercy explores trust, justice and accountability in a future shaped by algorithms.
