White Spark Pictures, founded by Perth based producer and director Briege Whitehead, has established itself as a global leader in fully immersive filmmaking. Through innovative production techniques and cutting edge post production technology, the company has redefined what is possible within the VR medium. Two of its productions rank among Australia’s highest grossing theatrical documentaries, despite limited screen releases, highlighting the growing appetite for immersive storytelling.

The experience is powered by Surround Sync technology, which synchronises cinematic surround sound with hundreds of VR headsets simultaneously, allowing audiences to share the same fully immersive world in real time. The result is a collective cinema event that blends the intimacy of VR with the atmosphere of a live festival setting.

From the frozen wilderness of Antarctica to the rugged landscapes of the Kimberley and the vastness of outer space, this Fringe season offers a rare opportunity to step inside extraordinary worlds without ever leaving your seat. Tickets are available now through the Adelaide Fringe website.
