After more than a decade away from the big screen, the Scary Movie franchise is finally making its long awaited return, and horror fans are in for a bloody hilarious ride. Commonly referred to as Scary Movie 6, but simply titled SCARY MOVIE, the upcoming parody sequel reunites the original creative masterminds Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans and Keenen Ivory Wayans for the first time in 17 years, bringing the series back to its classic roots.
Directed by Michael Tiddes, the new film sees the return of iconic characters Cindy Campbell, Brenda Meeks, Ray Wilkins and Shorty as they once again come face to face with the masked killer that haunted the original film.
Fan favourites including Anna Faris, Regina Hall and Marlon Wayans are back alongside a mix of returning cast members and fresh faces. This time around, nothing is safe. The film takes aim at modern horror hits including Get Out, Longlegs, Sinners, Smile, M3GAN, The Substance and the recent Scream films, while also poking fun at horror icons such as Jason Voorhees, Leatherface and Art the Clown from Terrifier 3.
